[Blue frowns again, and turns the block over in his hands, but finally shakes his head.]

I'll keep it. [A beat.] Thanks, I ...guess.

[More for the words than the ..broken Megastone, honestly, but he'll figure out something to do with it? He keeps looking it over, until he realizes he's still standing there in front of Archie, staring at it, and his cheeks pink in self-consciousness.] What's this stuff it's stuck in? Where'd you even get something like this...?

[that makes him smile. he'd been a little nervous blue would reject it, but archie's fortunately not so paranoid he thinks blue'll throw it out behind his back.]

Oh-- uh. It's resin! It's pretty fun to play with, actually. I had to practice with a buncha molds and go hang out with a professional guy before I could do that. It was pretty fun, actually.

[Blue hesitates, head tilting, toe scuffing the floor.] I mean, Mega Evolution hinges on your bond with Sharpedo. I don't think anyone'd argue that you two got that down. And I've never... heard of that happening to anyone before, and I've seen tons of people fail to Mega Evolve, while training.

So... [He turns again, hiding his the red in his face.] I mean, I don't think it's either of you. Maybe it's just this weird screwed up place. The energy might not work the same without the history of our world, yanno? Maybe it has a limit, or... or something. The limit of what was in the stone.
