Eevee ♂
Naughty nature. Strongly defiant.

Eevee was Blue's starter Pokémon and is thus by far his strongest, rivaling Red's Pikachu. Eevee knows him better than anyone and has been with Blue through the thick and the thin- he's the most dependable Pokémon when Blue is in a tough spot. That said, Eevee also has a very stubborn and mischievous personality and can sometimes get into trouble. Blue believes the evolutionary potential of Eevee is lost once you evolve it, so he has kept from evolving his Eevee even to now.



Arcanine ♂
Adamant nature. Quick tempered.
Met in Kanto Route 8 at Lv. 16

Arcanine, fitting his species' temperament, is extremely loyal to Blue and is the quickest to defend him from any potential danger or sleight. He loves to be praised when he does well in battle and has a tendency to show off. Blue sometimes rides on Arcanine for land travel.



Gyarados ♂
Jolly nature. Likes to thrash about.

Gyarados, despite his species being known as the 'Atrocious' Pokémon for their renowned tempers, is actually quite cheerful and friendly. He likes people and likes getting attention from them. Despite this, he can get a little overenthusiastic and knock down some buildings if he isn't careful. Blue uses Gyarados for Surfing, as well as occassionally for Flying.


Exeggutor ♂
Modest nature. Highly curious.
Met in Kanto Safari Zone at Lv. 22

Exeggutor sometimes wanders off if something catches his interest, which can be something of a pain if Blue loses track of him amongst the palm trees in Alola. He isn't a flashy battler like others on Blue's team, but his goofy appearance belies the strength of his special attacks. He can be useful for getting around obstacles and camping out while traveling, thanks to his Psychic powers. He also likes to help grow berries.

Pidgeot ♂
Hasty nature. Strongly defiant.

Blue's oldest caught Pokémon, other than his starter Eevee. Pidgeot has an impatient personality and will sometimes act on his own outside of battles, but within battle he's totally attentive and Blue's most trusted partner outside of Eevee. Blue uses Pidgeot for Flying.



Alakazam ♂

Although he has a tendency to be a bit of a grumpy old man, Alakazam is one of Blue's more even-heeled Pokémon, often the voice of reason to the other more quick to attack Pokémon, thinking things through logically before acting- which is usually pretty quickly, thanks to Alakazam having an IQ of 5,000. His wisdom and (sometimes literal) foresight is respected both by his trainer, who looks to him for guidance when they're in a pickle, as well as the rest of the team.


Tyranitar ♂
Lonely nature. Hates to lose.
Met in Sevault Canyon at Lv. 20

A Pokémon Blue caught just after his downfall as Champion, Tyranitar doesn't get along very well with other Pokémon, but developed a kindred bond with Blue in a time when he felt an outcast, and the two share a bond of understanding. Tyranitar has a destructive temper and only his respect for Blue keeps him in check from lashing out as he pleases.

Rhyperior ♂

Having grown more intelligent since his earlier evolutions, Rhyperior's very easy to get along with since he's not as high-strung as many of the other Pokémon on Blue's team, but in battle, he's still happy to show off what he can do. As a Rhyhorn, he used to help Blue cross tricky mountain terrain, but nowadays he also helps out with things like demolition and heavy lifting/towing.



Machamp ♂
Brave nature. Proud of its power.

A positive-minded fellow who is always eager to show off his muscle, Machamp was a Pokémon Blue used more in his tenure as Gym Leader than during his original journey. He loves to spar and try out different fighting styles with human fighters. Machamp is extremely friendly and a team player, always ready to help Blue out with any heavy lifting that needs to be done.


Aerodactyl ♂
Jolly nature. Impetuous and silly.

A newer and younger Pokémon on Blue's team, Aerodactyl was revived from a fossil Blue found in his travels. Because of his young age, Aerodactyl is a little clingy and overly affectionate towards Blue sometimes, and sometimes doesn't know his own strength- he has a tendency to playfully try to "chew" on Blue's head with his massive, razor-sharp jaws as a greeting.



Raticate ♂
Naive nature. Likes to run.
Met in Kanto Route 3 at Lv. 10

One of Blue's earliest Pokémon, Raticate just didn't make the cut competitively and was switched out of battling rotation mid-way through his Gym challenge. Contrary to popular theory, the happy rat is retired to a life of pampering and luxury and at the Oaks' house in Pallet. He's an affectionate fellow who had a habit of gnawing on anything in sight that he particularly liked- including Blue's belongings.



Cloyster ♂
Impish nature. Good endurance.
Met in Vermillion City Harbor at Lv. 10

A lesser used Pokémon Blue caught during his journey, Cloyster was mostly retired from battle rotation during Blue's reign as a Gym Leader and took happily to a life of floating in the warm seas near Pallet Town.



Ninetales ♂

Another of Blue's lesser used Pokémon during his journey, Ninetales instead found his calling in Pokémon Contests and now lives under the care of Blue's sister Daisy as a Master-class Beauty Contest Champion. It's given him a bit of a vain and spoiled personality, but he can't hide the wagging of his tails when Blue comes home to visit.

A Pokémon Blue caught during his original journey in the Kanto region. Magnezone evolved during his time in Kalos, and currently lives in Pallet Town helping with Oak's research in the lab.



Heracross ♂
Naughty nature. Somewhat of a clown.

Blue's most oft-forgotten Pokémon (looking at you, Game Freak), he caught it during his time in the Sevii Islands searching for Pokémon and tactics in order to defeat Red in a doomed rematch for the Champion title. Heracross is a bit of a simple fellow that now spends much of his time happily feeding on the flowers and sap of the greenery around Pallet Town.
